MR. CHEN
Here is the first part of my thesis! Finally done! It's based off a great story on This American Life about a guy named Mr. Chen, who patrols the bridge over the Yangtze River in Nanchang, China. He spends his days on his dilapidated moped, looking through his binoculars for people who might jump off. He's currently saved hundreds of lives. Listen to the story here.
Also, this is only a sliver of the work done for it, so see the rest on my actual WEBSITE

China City process
Here are some process shots for my China City environment.
My first preliminary drawing, but it just wasn't capturing the feel of the city I was going for. Overhead dragon subways were a little to fantastic/irrelevant for the story.
Once I decided on the thumbnail, it was just a matter of time.
